Scholarship in American History

This $2000 scholarship is funded by NSCDA-TX and is awarded to a graduate student in the History Department at The University of Texas in  Austin. Sometimes this scholarship is divided among two students.

American Heritage Award

This scholarship/award is to be presented to an organization, group, or student to promote knowledge of patriotism and American heritage through community work, projects, or through a course of study.  Our national organization and the other Region III states contribute funds for this award.  Texas will be the Spotlight Society that presents the award in 2025-2026.

Texas History Day Scholarships

Two scholarships of $225 each are awarded annually to a middle and high school student winner of the Texas History Day contest.
